Metal Wedding Band Styles
A classic metal band without gemstones is typically made from platinum, 18k or 14k white gold, yellow, rose, or yellow gold. Other metals include stainless steel and titanium. Yoakum says that platinum is the most common in this design. It is the most shiny metal and it develops a beautiful wedding recommendations patina over time. This can be polished away to restore its original shine, without having to rust the metal.

Eternity Wedding Band Styles
Bonneville Barden explains that an eternity band is made up of identically sized diamonds, which are placed around the entire ring to symbolize eternity.
There are two common Wedding Band Styles of eternity bands: channel setting and shared prong setting. A shared prong setting band is where the two stones sitting next to each other share one prong. From the side, the prongs make the shape of the letter “u.” Yoakum says that the diamond is visible from both the top and sides, giving this style a lot more sparkle. A channel set eternity band has the diamonds placed side-by-side within a metal channel that forms the sides of the ring.
A channel set eternity band and a shared prong are two popular options. However, there are many other options. Yoakum says that eternity bands can be set in many ways. Any cut of diamond you can find in an engagement ring, from round brilliant to cushion to the emerald, can also be used in an eternity band.
